The Air Commando D45-BL by Xezo is where form meets function. This watch’s black dial, bezel features, and solid stainless steel (316L) case and band construction are built to strict standards, all the while it maintains a classic vintage look. The style of augmented hands, large indexes and Arabic numbers were influenced by early clocks used in cockpits of military planes. This is the 4th and final edition which is available in black PVD plated case, band and most importantly, updated high-quality Citizen automatic movements (Miyota 9015). The two bezels operate independently, each offering an additional layer of complexity to this fine piece. Designed to track elapsed time in minutes or seconds the outer bezel features raised, diamond-cut numerals that shine brilliantly. Their mirror polished finish is sure to attract attention. The inner bezel, operated by the 10 o’clock crown, records elapsed time in hours or functions as a secondary time zone. On the face, the beautiful black guilloche design with applied and polished hour markers, makes a bold statement. Each of the hour markers, and the hands are illuminated clearly with Swiss-made Luminova overlays. As a custom calibrated movement it often exceeds it intended accuracy (-10 +20 sec/day) and this shock-resistant, water-resistant (200M) timepiece holds a 42-hour power reserve. Specifications include 3mm thick Swiss sapphire crystal glass, with an inner anti-reflective coating, 54x45x13mm case, 230x22x4mm band with removable links, 224g total weight. Please rotate the winding crown 40 times initially to achieve a full power reserve for the automatic movement. A portion of the proceeds benefit the groundbreaking unite4:good global movement.
